Oh Boland / Dott / Field trip / Martins Party

Oh Boland are a three-piece noisy guitar pop band from Tuam, Co. Galway. A band equally in love with the Can-nier moments of Thee Oh Sees & Yo La Tengo & the summer pop jangle of The Clean. Catching them live is wholly recommended, the music joins visible in the best early-pavement way.

2016 saw the release of their debut album ‘Spilt Milk’ on Volar Records (San Diego, CA) along with a US tour finishing at Gonerfest, Memphis TN.

Their unstoppable momentum continues to boil & grow making their late show in The Loft one of the highlights of this years Fringe Festival, support on the night from Dott, Field Trip, Martin’s Party & Skinner.

Dott are four piece garage pop band, driven by angelic harmonies from their two female singers. Another local act to have enjoyed success in the US, with multiple tours & festival experiences. Celebrating their 5th birthday last winter, Dott are a crucial part of the Galway music scene.

Field Trip are a garage jangle pop band from Galway. Forming at the dawn of 2016, the band released two singles ‘You & I’ & ‘Youth in Asia’ on Citóg Records that spring.

Playing 25+ shows that year the band have played with And So I Watch You From Afar, Squarehead, Bitch Falcon & No Monster Club, headlined the front bar at Whelan’s Ones to Watch festival.

March 2017 brought the release of their debut EP ‘Evening’s Over’ which came out on Citóg Records & Little L Records.

Martin’s Party are an aggressive pop band from Dundalk, Co. Louth.

Fusing several genres & bringing a massive energy to their live performance, Martin’s Party have a fresh take on old school rhythm & blues that is guaranteed to get you dancing.

Following his debut release ‘SKINT’ last year, Skinner brings his own brand of skagg-jazz to Galway for the first time at this years Fringe Festival. Appearing in Nialler9’s top

30 Irish albums of 2016 & boasting a musical prowess far beyond their years, Skinner are ones to keep an eye on now & in the future.
